Access to clean water is a fundamental human right, yet millions of people around the world walk miles every day to fetch water, often from contaminated sources, like Neema Thomas.
Every morning, Neema and her daughters wake before sunrise, walking nearly 10 kilometers just to fetch water, water that isn’t even clean. When we gave her a filter, she didn’t just receive safe water; she received hope, hope that her children no longer have to suffer from illness, exhaustion, or the fear of losing their lives on the long journey for something so basic.
On Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 1:00 PM, Mosaic International and WSDM Water invite YOU for the Walk for Water Event!
For just $1, you can provide ONE person with clean water for ONE year through Mosaic's 1/1/1 Campaign...one dollar, one person, one year.
Last year, we raised $3,430, giving an entire village clean water for 5+ years! This year, we are doubling our goal to $10,000 to change 10,000 LIVES! Lives like Neema and her family, pictured below.

Walk for Water: The 1/1/1 Campaign
Here at Mosaic, we are dedicated to strengthening local churches and mobilizing communities to create sustainable development. Our initiatives focus on relief, development, discipleship, and mobilization, with projects currently active in Tanzania, Rwanda, the Philippines, and South Asia.Â
One of their most impactful efforts is our clean water initiative, ensuring that families in vulnerable communities have access to safe drinking water.
One of the most powerful aspects of Mosaic’s mission is that the innovative water filters are made in Tanzania, providing not just clean water but jobs, empowerment, and lasting change for local communities. This isn’t just a temporary solution, it’s sustainable, life-changing impact.
When you see these filters in action and the faces of the people whose lives are transformed, you truly understand why this work matters!

The 1/1/1 Campaign: Transforming Lives with a Dollar
The 1/1/1 Campaign is at the heart of the Walk for Water event. The concept is simple yet powerful:
$1 provides clean water to 1 person for 1 year.
A $5 donation changes the lives of 5 people, that’s an entire family!
A $500 donation means 500 people gain access to clean, safe drinking water.
Mosaic's water initiatives ensure that your contribution goes directly toward sustainable, life-changing, clean water solutions in underserved communities.
The Collaboration Between Mosaic International & WSDM Water
This year, Mosaic International is teaming up with WSDM Water to maximize the impact of the Walk for Water event. WSDM Water is more than just a water company; it’s a movement dedicated to quality, hospitality, and giving.Â
Their commitment to providing clean, mineral-rich water at affordable prices aligns perfectly with Mosaic’s mission to bring clean water to those in need.
By joining forces, Mosaic and WSDM Water aim to spread awareness and raise funds for clean water initiatives that will create real, lasting change.Â
The collaboration will also help educate participants about the importance of water quality, accessibility, and sustainability, both locally and globally.
Who Is WSDM Water?
WSDM Water was founded in 2023 by tech veteran Peter Wang to provide better choices in a market dominated by corporate giants. Their mission is to redefine water quality by offering mineral-rich, affordable drinking water while giving back to communities in need.

Why WSDM Water Exists:
Better Water Quality: The water market is monopolized, and the illusion of choice is real. WSDM Water provides a healthier, more transparent alternative.
Commitment to Hospitality: WSDM isn’t just a water brand; it’s a hydration café and community hub.
Giving Back: WSDM actively contributes to organizations like the Special Olympics, Boys & Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity, and more. Their commitment to giving aligns seamlessly with the mission of Mosaic International’s 1/1/1 Campaign.
WSDM’s Local to Global Impact:
WSDM Water is rapidly expanding in Temecula and Murrieta, with its hydration cafés serving as a central hub. Their water is carried in over 20 local businesses, including cafés, restaurants, gyms, and fitness studios, with plans to expand to wineries and golf courses.Â
By partnering with Mosaic International, they’re taking their commitment to clean water global.

Last Year’s Walk for Water Campaign
Last year, we hosted our first Walk for Water campaign, where our Founder, Mark Sherman, and other amazing individuals took on an incredible challenge for #WorldWaterDay to raise awareness for the global water crisis.Â
Mark walked 26.2 miles (shown in the video below). Others took the challenge of 10,000 steps a day. We went together on World Water Day with a group of about 20 and walked 2-3 miles.Â
Thanks to generous supporters like you, we raised a collective $3,430, enabling our team in Tanzania to provide an entire village with ceramic-safe water filters that will last a minimum of five years! This year, our goal is $10,000, which will impact 10,000 LIVES!

You can watch the video below from our Founder to see how last year’s Walk for Water campaign impacted lives and why this cause remains so important today.
Providing Clean Water to the Masai People in Tanzania
As mentioned earlier, ALL the funds raised from last year’s Walk for Water campaign were used to provide clean water to the Masai People in Tanzania in June of 2024. The donations enabled our team to manufacture and distribute ceramic-safe water filters, ensuring that an entire village has access to clean, safe drinking water for at least five years.
