For years, Mosaic International has been committed to bringing the light of Jesus to communities in need, and one of its most impactful missions has been in Bicol, Philippines. What started as a vision to serve and uplift has grown into a movement of transformation, one that has led to the planting of a thriving church in the village of Donsol.

A Church for Donsol: Securing The Ground
In the heart of Donsol, a small congregation once gathered under the shade of a mango tree to worship. They had no permanent home, only faith. But an opportunity was seen to establish something lasting, a space where the people of Donsol could grow in faith, find community, and serve one another.
In April 2024, during a missions trip where Cornerstone Church in Wildomar, California joined Mosaic International, the team stood on the very ground where the church had been meeting. They prayed, worshiped, and connected with the believers who had been faithfully gathering despite having no official place to call their own.
Only a month later, Mosaic’s Annual Gala became a divine turning point. That night, $5,000 of the total amount raised was enough to help with a down payment to secure a permanent plot of land for the Donsol church.
This was more than just a financial gift; it was an answered prayer. Learn more about the 2024 Mosaic Gala and how God moved powerfully through it, bringing transformation, provision, and hope, not just in Sorsogon but in other countries. Read here.
Faith in Action: Mosaic’s Continued Work in Sorsogon
Beyond simply acquiring land, Mosaic has continued working to uplift the community in Donsol and the surrounding areas. Over the years, their efforts have expanded to include education, infrastructure, and outreach programs that bring spiritual and physical nourishment to the people.
During the 2024 April Mosaic International and Cornerstone Church Trip:
Cleared land of trees, stumps, trash, and debris to create a safe space for a playground.
Built a volleyball and badminton court to encourage community and recreation.
Constructed a swing set for local children.
Replaced broken doorknobs, tables, and chairs in classrooms.
Painted classrooms, revitalizing learning spaces.
Donated shoes to students, ensuring they had proper footwear.
Fed students during outreach visits, providing nourishment and care.
Supplied school materials to students at the Dream Center.
Walked the streets, distributing food and praying for widows and the elderly, demonstrating Jesus' love in action.
These efforts have not only strengthened the church in Donsol but have also impacted families, students, and the wider community throughout Bicol.
